Cruising is the BEST vacation and I have always loved it and since I was right out of high school have always been apart of it.
I started my journey being a reservation agent from Carnival Cruise Line way back when there were only 8 reservation agents, 2 small ships and a new one being built on the way.

I always think in the age of the internet that information is a valuable tool but I do not think making a purchase with out a knowledgeable Travel Agent is smart.
Sometimes you will pay a little more with the help of a travel agent (it is worth it) sometime you can pay a little or a lot less because that agent knows how to find a hidden deal.
But most of all you have the valuable service of someone to help you find what you want and will be there for you throughout the process
Lets talk about season and best value ….when the kids are in school the ships have better deals, hurricane season is priced lower. Christmas and New Years and school holidays expect to pay more.
I think the Economy has affected all areas and travel is no different, with the cost of fuel it has brought up the cost of many cruises not the other way around.
Still taking a cruise is the best value even in a bad economy.
I love Carnival and Royal Caribbean for families and Holland America for the mature crowd.
I love Celebrity and Azamara for the couples and those that want excellent food and service.
I love Regent, Silversea, Seabourn, for your upscale client ..you get it all and in most cases you don’t mind paying for it.
There are many cruise lines that specialize in River cruises, Adventure cruises, Theme cruises, and of course World cruises.
